Beer gets inclusive

As we move towards the focal point of the Pride Calendar (Saturday July 7th), Pride-oriented advertising is omnipresent in all forms of media; lots of brands are clucking to get involved.

And? Well, there have been some nice ideas but none better than some simple OOH coming out of London brewery, Fuller's.

Beer. A stereotypically 'laddy' beverage. One for the pint-crushing groups of lads out there. One which has typically not had a very open state-of-mind to those who may identify with different sexualities or genders (a generalisation of course, but one which may ring true for many).

No longer.

London Pride (which is just so aptly named for a campaign such as this) has played on this phenomenon. They've taken their stereotypical representation and completely flipped it on its head.

"You've waited hundreds of years to see a gay beer ad" they exclaim, "and then two come along".

In two simple, attention-grabbing, out-of-home billboards, the brand have partnered with Pride in London to bring us this brilliant piece of creative.

Funny, insightful & clever. Bloody brilliant.

Check it out below.
